Merijn Eikelenboom, LMM

Merijn Eikelenboom has studied Dutch Law at the University of Amsterdam. Since 2003 he has been working at Research and innovation, Department of Psychiatry VUMC & GGZ inGeest in various functions. Currently he is the operational head Research at the department of Psychiatry Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc. Moreover he is projectmanager of some large psychiatric cohort studies, e.g. The Netherlands Study of Depression and Anxiety (NESDA) and The Netherlands Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Association (NOCDA) study. Furthermore, he is a PHD-student examining the relationship between suicidal behavior and depression and anxiety in the NESDA study and he is a member of the management team of the Sure-NL consortium (Suicide Research Netherlands).
