Neeltje Batelaan appointed Professor in Psychiatry of Anxiety related disorders

As of December 1st 2023, Neeltje Batelaan is appointed Professor in Psychiatry of Anxiety related disorders at Amsterdam UMC. Congratulations Neeltje!

Neeltje Batelaan is not only working in research at Amsterdam UMC, but also in the outpatient department for Anxiety disorders of GGZ inGeest. Her research focuses on the longitudinal course of anxiety disorders, relapse prevention, comorbidity of anxiety disorders, and interaction with somatic disorders. Additionally to her research, she is psychiatrist at the academic outpatient department of Anxiety disorders, she is in the board of the academic workplace Anxiety Disorders, and co-director of the education program for residence in psychiatry at GGZ inGeest.
