Dr. Rosa Boeschoten, PhD

Rosa Boeschoten is mental health psychologist and senior researcher at the department of Psychiatry, Amsterdam UMC/VUmc. In her clinical work and research at the General Hospital department, she is specifically interested in the complex interplay of psychiatric-somatic co-morbidity. 

Her PhD project at GGZ inGeest/VUmc (PhD obtained in 2017) focused on the prevalence and profile of depression in multiple sclerosis patients and was aimed at improving the quality of care for depressed MS patients with an Internet-based cognitive behavior therapy. Her current research mainly focuses on somatic symptom-disorders, functional neurological disorders and psychological interventions to improve wellbeing and resilience.
