Dr. Tanja Su, PhD

Tanja Su is postdoctoral researcher at GGZ inGeest/the department of psychiatry of Amsterdam UMC/VUmc. As a licensed healthcare psychologist (BIG registered Mental Health Care Professional) she works within the field of geriatric psychiatry, both inpatient- and intensive outpatient. She provides psychotherapy, in which she uses researched and proven effective (i.e. evidence-based) methods based on cognitivebehavioral- as well as interpersonal- and psychodynamic therapies.

Furthermore, Tanja conducts psychological assessments, mainly neuropsychological- and personality assessments among the elderly. Finally, next to her clinical ambitions, she hopes to contribute to the research area of geriatric psychiatry, specifically providing clinically relevant insights and improve treatment effectiveness and disease outcome.
