Needs, circumstances, characteristics and outcomes of people with psychosis differ substantially. The focus of our research is on people with early psychosis and their variation in response to treatment, substance use, co-morbidity, cognitive and social functioning and long-term morbidity and mortality. We investigate the complex interplay of factors that are important to psychosis by triangulating research methods, populations, and outcomes (neuroimaging, genetic data, clinical and psychosocial outcomes, process measures, subjective experiences and artistic expressions). The overall aim of our research is to improve the lives of people with psychosis and, ultimately, their outcomes across the lifespan.
