The research group ‘Neuroimaging in Psychiatry’ aims to unravel the neural basis of psychiatric disorders using multimodal neuroimaging techniques (3T, 7T, EEG) in collaboration with the Spinoza Centre for Neuroimaging. We use neuroimaging to understand how different treatments (psychological, pharmacological, neurostimulation) exert their clinical effects. And we use machine learning to develop clinical tools for diagnosis and prognosis to move away from stepped care towards precision psychiatry.
