REStoring mood after Early life Trauma – the efficacy of trauma-focused therapy in patients with depression and childhood trauma
The RESET-psychotherapy study is a 12-week multicenter, single-blind randomised controlled trial. In this trial we are testing the efficacy of trauma-focused therapy (TFT) as an adjunctive to treatment as usual (TAU), in 158 adult patients with depression and childhood trauma. The TFT consists of 6-10 sessions of Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) or imagery rescripting, depending on the childhood trauma type.
