Neurobiology of compulsive behaviour and its components: Tracking prefrontal neuronal activity during habit development

In this project we study inflexible behaviour and its neuronal mechanisms. PhD student Felice Veen uses one-photon calcium imaging employing implantable miniaturised fluorescent microscopes to visualise real-time neuronal activity over the course of habit formation. We aim to identify inter-individual differences in the prefrontal neural correlate of inflexible behaviour.
