Psychiatric Epidemiology Lab

The psychiatric epidemiology lab utilizes large-scale cohort data to examine etiology, course and consequences of depression and anxiety disorders. Example cohorts are the Netherlands Study of Depression and Anxiety (NESDA) and MARIO study with detailed longitudinal data collections. These studies integrate (epi)genomics, biomarkers, neuroimaging as well as detailed psychosocial environmental aspects collected through novel assessments.
