This project focuses on three studies:
1. Creation, psychometric accuracy and implementation of a PTSD trauma screener for children and adolescents form 7 years and older. The questionnaire consist of a list of 16 potentially traumatic events, followed by the 20 DSM-5 PTSD symptom criteria. The questionnaire is available free of charge for healthcare professionals. Analysis are done with Self-reports N= 587 and caregiver reports N= 658.

2. The Impact of Bullying on Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Symptoms in Children and Adolescents. This study is a cooperation with two children and adolescent psychiatry clinics in Norway and Germany. We assess the PTSD symptoms in children who reported bullying in the trauma screener. German sample N = 707, Norwegian sample N= 3370 and Dutch sample N = 952.

3. Implementation and psychometric accuracy of the Clinician Administrated PTSD Scale – Children and Adolescents. A study towards the implementation of this clinician based semi-structured clinical interview for PTSD symptoms. The CAPS-CA consist if a life event checklist of 26 potentially traumatic events followed by a score of the severity of the DSM-5 PTSD symptoms. This studies includes 189 interviews.
