Sergio Conde-Ocazionez is a Colombian engineer interested in describing how cortical signals reflect sensory and cognitive integration to modify behaviour. He started analysing human EEG signals during his master’s and moved to animal models (cats and rodents) during his doctoral training.

Sergio uses multidimensional approaches to analyse electrophysiological and optical imaging recordings from neuronal populations, exploring how their collective activity represents sensory and behavioural features.
