My interest in neuroscience relates to the diverse role of dopamine in learning, motivation, behavior, and cognition. I am particularly interested in understanding the neuromodulatory effects of dopamine on behavior in both healthy and pathological states. A focus of my postdoctoral project is to understand the relationship between dopamine signals and (ab-)normal behavior within a brain region known as the striatum.
