As child and adolescent psychiatrist, family therapist, and child psychotraumatherapist I work at the Top-GGZ Centre for Trauma, Attachment, and Family at Levvel. As professor and head of the Dept. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry I collaborate with dr. Irma Hein, dr. Malindi van Mheen, and dr. Luuk Stapersma (postdocs/senior researchers). My specific research interest is on trauma and stressor related symptoms/disorders in children, adolescents, and their (foster) parents. I’m chair of the dept. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of the NVvP and board member of the Knowledge Centre for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
