Paul Doedens

RN PhD

Paul Doedens is a nurse and clinical epidemiologist. His research themes are prevention of coercive measures, coping with workplace violence and the improvement of inpatient care facilities. Besides research, he works as a nurse at the High Intensive Care unit of the Department of Psychiatry in Amsterdam UMC and he is affiliated as a teacher with the Institute of Nursing Studies of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Paul aims to combine literature reviews, qualitative and quantitative methods to create research output with relevance for both clinical practice and the scientific community.
