As neuroscientist I investigate individual differences in stress resilience and its consequences for mental health in the labs of Prof. Vinkers (Mood & Resilience lab) and Dr. Daskalakis (McLean, Harvard, USA). My work has a strong emphasis on multidisciplinary approaches and clinical translation, stretching  from animal studies and clinical trials to computational modeling. In addition I provide patientcare as psychologist at GGZ inGeest, and I am actively involved in several Dutch and European networks, including stress-NL, the ECNP Resilience Network and the ECNP early career academy. My academic background includes Biomedical Sciences (BSc 2010), Clinical Psychology (BSc 2012; MSc 2015), and Neuroscience (MSc 2015; PhD 2022).
