As of the 1st of January 2026 prof. dr. Ramon Lindauer is appointed vice-chair of the Health Council of the Netherlands (Gezondheidsraad) together with dr. Selma Tromp (neurologist, LUMC). They are appointed by the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport for a period of four years.
Prof. dr. Lindauer is child and adolescent psychiatrist at Levvel and professor at Amsterdam UMC. His research focuses on child and adolescent psychiatry, trauma- and stressrelated disorders in children and adolescents. Additionally he puts lots of effort in education of our next generation health care professionals.
From January onwards, prof. Lindauer will combine this new role with his clinical and research work at Levvel and Amsterdam UMC and other managerial and governance roles. Congratulations Ramon!
