Rick Jansen’s research focuses on identifying the (integrative) omics signature of depression (using DNA, methylation, gene expression, proteomics, metabolomics) and on finding better treatment for, and identification of, depression subtypes, using data from NESDA and several trials performed at the department of Psychiatry at Amsterdam UMC.
