On Wednesday 11 February 2026, the 10th edition of Arkin’s annual So What?! science symposium will take place at the Keizersgrachtkerk in Amsterdam.

During this anniversary edition of the symposium, we will take a rapid tour through around 18 research projects that have been carried out within Arkin recently. Researchers will have two minutes to pitch their research, after which there will be time for questions from the audience. In this way, we quickly get to the heart of the matter and answer the question: So What?! In other words, what do these research findings actually mean for practitioners?

In addition to the well-known pitches, the chairs of the academic collaborative centers will provide a comprehensive overview of what has been achieved in recent years, how this has made impact to our treatments, and where our focus will lie in the coming years.

The symposium starts at 13:00 and will be in Dutch. More information on the programme and registration can be found on the research website of Arkin.

Speakers: Jochem Jansen, Kathleen Thomaes, Claudi Bockting, Marleen de Waal, Edwin de Beurs, Lieuwe de haan, Mariken de Koning, Elske van den Berg, Rien Van & Christel Middeldorp.
